Renovation of a conference / convention center in Anaheim, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
This project provides for the replacement and automation of air handlers at the Convention Center. They will be upgraded to newer units that require less frequent repair and are more energy efficient. Also, automating more of the building will optimize the quality of air and energy used, substantially reducing labor dollars. Over the next nine years, all air handlers in Halls A-E will be replaced and fully automated. Mechanical deck coating is proposed to completely seal the deck in FY 2025/26. The project is included in the City of Anaheim's FY 2021-2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
