Response Format Electronic and Paper Project Type RFP (Request for Proposal) Response Types Response File General Attachment Type of Award Lump Sum Bid Valid 120 days Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 07/19/2021 5:00 PM (PDT) The City of Anaheim is seeking a consultant to provide right-of-way acquisition services including, but not limited to, title reports, property appraisals, right-of-way acquisitions and negotiations, temporary construction easements, and Caltrans Right-of-Way Certification for the Nohl Ranch Open Space Trail Project (CML-5055 (188)). This project is federally funded and services must comply with the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM). The Nohl Ranch Open Space Trail Project is located in the eastern portion of Anaheim, south of California State Route 91. The project alignment would be approximately 5,100 LF of a 10-foot wide Class I bikeway and a 3 to 10-foot wide pedestrian trail (pending clearance), in compliance with Caltrans standards. The alignment will commence at the intersection of North Avenida Bernardo and Imperial Highway travel south along the east side of Imperial Highway turning east prior to Nohl Ranch Road connecting to Anaheim Hills Road. Ancillary features of the project include lighting, shared lane markings, signs to indicate directions and distances to nearby destinations, bicycle parking. Additional design, pedestrian amenities will be evaluated including benches, shade structures and a pedestrian signal crossing at South Scout Trail. The City of Anaheim will use Bicycle Corridor Improvement Grant Program (BCIP) funding for right-of-way acquisition services for the project. The selected Right-of-Way Acquisition Consultant shall provide title reports, property appraisals, right-of-way acquisitions and negotiations, temporary construction easements, and Caltrans Right-of-Way Certification needed for this project. A portion of the trail will be on an easement above an unused gas pipeline that parallels Nohl Ranch Road. The project is anticipated to require seven (7) right-of-way acquisitions and TCE's, and are approximated in Right-of-Way Table (Appendix 1 in the RFP). The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
