Phase 2 will see the further expansion (260,000 acres) and buildout of the canal system. Phase 3 will consist of the buildout of the Qu'Appelle South Water Conveyance project. TIMELINE: Phases 2+ are currently not active. Phase 1, which is being followed in a separate report, is in detailed engineering design and targeted for 2028 construction. Further update may be confirmed summer 2027. *Value listed reflects the total project cost.
