Project Description: to improve water quality discharges to the Everglades Protection Area by helping to balance flows and loads to meet the Water Quality Based Effluent Limit (WQBEL) that would achieve compliance with the State of Floridas numeric phosphorous criterion in the Everglades Protection Area (EPA), while minimizing implementation costs to the extent possible. Contract Time: 150 Days from NTP to Milestone 1 Contract Time: 540 Days to Substantial Completion Contract Time: 600 Days to Final Completion Liquidated Damages: $1,800.00 per day, Substantial Completion Liquidated Damages: $900.00 per day, Final Completion SBE Requirements: 24% Utilization Directions: Site is located in Palm Beach County, south of County Road 880 (East Canal St S), west of L-7 Canal and Water Conservation Area 1 (WCA-1) and east of the STA-1W Expansion #1. Access to the Site is through DISTRICT Gate # G_STA1W_05.00E (26.6781165, -80.3968081) on County Road 880, approximately 0.9 miles south west of the intersection with State Road 80.
