Site work for a communication facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The deadline for submitting questions is extended to 5:00 PM on October 1, 2021. The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (AUTHORITY) requests interested parties to submit Sealed Bids for performing all work in connection with the CLASS I LANDFILL CELLS 5-10 CLOSURE The proposed work will be contracted to a licensed Florida General Contractor and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct as detailed in the contract documents. The construction an approximately 80-acre landfill closure in three phases at the Palm Beach Renewable Energy Class I Landfill. The work to be performed consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals and operations, and performing all work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract drawings and technical specifications. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: the construction and installation of a leachate toe drain system; the screening and testing of grading layer material and protective soil; the installation of a landfill gas (LFG) collection and control system and the construction of a final cover system. Additional work includes the installation of various piping systems and valves, the installation of a surface water management system and the repair of existing stormwater downcomer piping and inlets. It is a mandatory requirement that all individuals wear Safety vests and hard hats during the site visit portion of the pre-bid Conference. These items will not be provided by the authority.
