Site work for a municipal facility in Kahului, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
This project consists of constructing an 8.3-acre lined disposal cell, Phase III-A, at the Central Maui Landfill. Construction of the disposal cell will include excavation, grading, exposure of solid waste, structural fill, composite liner construction, and development of support structures, such as roads, and drainage channels. Bidders shall be licensed in accordance to Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of Contractors. Bidders shall at a minimum possess a C-17 or. C-27 Specialty Contractors License The Contractor and all Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage rate schedule as required by Chapter 104, H.R.S. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: cash, a cashier's check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder's bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the County of Maui, Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, H.R.S. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted.
