Renovation of a water / sewer project in Bridgeport, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project No. 101-W76:The project will be constructed under a unit price construction contract consisting of cleaning and recoating the exterior of said water tank, near white blast cleaning and recoating of the tank interior, welding repairs to cracks in the tank wall; and other necessary items of construction specified in the Contract Documents. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The awarded contractor shall be allotted 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed to fully complete the project. Liquidated damages of $200.00 per calendar day shall be paid for any delay of completion over the 90 allotted calendar days. The awarded contractor must employ a project manager with email capabilities. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
