Work will include the addition of highway/rail crossing signals on Pemiscot County Port railroad at two (2) locations, being at Route J in Hayti, MO and at Route D in Caruthersville, MO. The project includes final signal design, utilizing the included preliminary design plans; furnishing, installation and proper operation of new flashing lights, gates and sidelights, all with LED lights, two audible bells and a new signal bungalow at locations shown in these documents. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Pemiscot County Port Authority, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Missouri Division of Labor Standards Annual Wage Order must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, disability or national origin, age or ancestry of any individual.
