Renovation of a medical facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
In general the work consists of: Replacement of 3 existing steam fired water heaters with 2 steam 30 fired water heaters in Gordon Hall. Work will include 3 new hot water return pumps, related steam piping and equipment and electrical connections to new equipment. This work is being done in a Secure Facility All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on 18 state construction projects with budgets over $50,000. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal 48 Davis Bacon Act requirements Any Person who has not gone thru a background check will be allowed entrance to the facility. 10 Any person failing the background check will not be allowed entrance to the facility. No pictures will be allowed to be taken.
