Renovation of a mixed-use development in Windham, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the Marcella Eastman Terrace, Memorial Drive, Ash Street and High street, Willimantic, CT. This project includes the installation of 74 natural gas heating and water heating systems for 32 duplexes and 10 single houses (74 apartments). Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of State wage rates, and compliance with certain local and state requirements. A satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to Willimantic Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications. All bonds must be from sureties listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570. Bids, to receive consideration, must be in the hands of the authorized representative no later than the day and hour mentioned above. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the above Housing Authority. The Housing Authority of the City of Willimantic reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality, or; to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Housing Authority.
