Renovation of an educational facility in Windham, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work involves the removal of existing roofing system down to decking and installation of new fully adhered EPDM membrane system including all related flashing, sheet metal, and related mechanical and electrical work. Summary of Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Remove existing roofing system down to decking. Remove all existing flood coat/gravel, built-up roofing, insulation boards, flashing, cants, wood blocking, etc. NOTE - keep bottom blocking, verify secure attachment; 2. Roofs A, B, D, E, F: inspect metal deck. Repair or replace damaged or rusted metal decking We have the standard 25% requirement for SBEs of which 25% (6.25%) must be Questions are due by contractors 2/4/21, 4 pm - email to purchasing@easternct.edu. The successful qualified low bidder on this project must submit an Affirmative Action Plan. The plan must be filed within fifteen days after a bid has been accepted by the awarding agency. Pre-Qualification Classification required: Roofing The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technical defects or to reject any and all bids.
