Erie Co., Pedestrian Bridges Removal - Over Ny Route 33, Town of Cheektowaga. This study will evaluate the Department's options to address the structural deficiencies of two bridges providing pedestrian access over NY Route 33 ramps and the I-90 at Exit 51 in the Town of Cheektowaga, Erie County. Bridge replacement, relocation, and removal alternatives will be evaluated, taking into account community mobility needs Project Status The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2023/2024. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2024/2025. This Project is Located in the Western New York Region and Includes the Following: Counties Erie NYSDOT - Pedestrian Bridges Removal - Over NY Route 33 MBE (10%), WBE (15%), DVBE (6%) MBE - 7.7% WBE - 6.9%
