The City of Wilsonville ("City"), by and through the South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART), invites qualified individuals or firms to submit proposals to provide services related to the Intelligent Transportation System Project based upon the Scope of Work contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The City of Wilsonville's programs, services, employment opportunities, and volunteer positions are open to all persons without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, marital status, handicap, or political affiliation. Implementation schedule with key milestones identified. The City’s goal is to have the system substantially completed and operational in early 2021. This project will implement an industry proven Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), including Computer Aided Dispatch and Automatic Vehicle Location components, for SMART’s fixed route, deviated fixed route, and demand response fleet of approximately 37 vehicles. The ITS will include a suite of new technology to improve SMART’s day-to-day operations, provide real-time information for customers, and provide performance metrics for reporting and analytical purposes.
