Site work for a swimming pool in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
The Urbana Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities and irregularities. Bids will be accepted in strict accordance with instructions to bidders in the Specifications. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All Bidders must be experienced and submit, with the Bid, documentation of experience of at least Five (5) years with the type of work included in the Contract Documents and Specifications. The Urbana Park District reserves the right to make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the competency of Bidders. Bid security in the form of a certified check, acceptable bid bond or bank draft, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid, and shall be made payable to the Urbana Park District as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, Bidders shall be required to submit, along with their proposal, evidence of their ability to obtain Guaranty Bonds in the form of a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Bid. If bond is required, Contractor will pay cost of bond. Project must be completed by October 15, 2020. Contractor will have access to the job site between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. No liquidated damages will occur for late completion.
