The 2020 CMAQ Alley Dust Proofing Project work will include approximately 183,683 square yards of clearing, grubbing, and subgrade preparation, including removal, hauling, and disposal of deleterious materials and degraded asphalt millings; 168,508 square yards of single application of Liquid Asphalt (MC-250) & precoated fractured aggregate; weed control; traffic control; and other miscellaneous items in various alleys within the City of Phoenix. This is a federal-aid project; however, the prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, are not applicable. This project will utilize federal funds and is subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 and the U.S. Department of Transportation DBE Program. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal of 4.43 percent has been established for this project.
