Q&A Deadline: 8/11/2020 4:00:00 PM The Town of Bristol, Rhode Island invites sealed bids for "Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, Hope Street Sidewalk Repair Project, Contract No. 940", Successful bidders must furnish a performance bond on 100 percent of the proposed contract within 15 days after the award. The Town reserves all rights to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or to go on the open market when is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The location, general characteristics, and principal details of the Work are indicated in a set of Contract Documents, entitled "Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, Hope Street Sidewalk Repair Project, Contract No. 940". The work in this Contract includes, but is not limited to: . Removal of existing pavement sidewalks and curb . Installation of new sidewalks and wheelchair ramps . Removal of and replacement of subgrade material with gravel borrow base course material . Full frontage sidewalk repairs . Spot sidewalk repairs . Driveway reconstruction as required . Structure adjustments as required . Installation of erosion controls . Safety controls and signing for construction operations . All other incidental items included in the contract documents Bids shall be on a Unit Price basis. The project will be awarded to a single, lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. The Time of Completion for this project shall be 30 calendar days from a Contractor's receipt of a Notice to Proceed.
