Site work for a water / sewer project in Simi Valley, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project proposes to rehabilitate 9,665 feet and seven point repairs of 10 to 36-inch, primarily asbestos cement sewer trunk lines, along E.Los Angeles Avenue. The primary rehabilitation mode will be cured-in-places lip liner and digging may be required for point repairs. The total cost of the project is expected to be $6,300,000 and will be constructed in three phases, for three consecutive years ending in FY 2025-26, with each phase being designed by September and construction to be completed in August. As of June 02, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2022. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
