Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Griffith, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The intent of this project is to rehabilitate the Griffith-Merrillville Airports Terminal Apron Pavement. The project consists of four bids, and further described as follows: The Base Bid consists of full depth bituminous asphalt repair (750 SY) and asphalt seal coating of existing pavement (10,000 SY). Work consists of, but is not limited to, saw cut and excavation of existing pavement, subgrade repair and preparation, bituminous asphalt paving, and asphalt seal coating. The Additive Bid 1 consists of additional asphalt seal coating of existing pavement (3,700 SY). The Additive Bid 2 consists of additional asphalt seal coating of existing pavement (3,300 SY). The Additive Bid 3 consists of additional asphalt seal coating of existing pavement (2,400 SY). The Additive Bid 4 consists of additional full depth bituminous asphalt repair (380 SY). Work consists of, but is not limited to, saw cut and excavation of existing pavement, subgrade repair and preparation, and bituminous asphalt paving. A certified check or bank draft payable to Griffith Aviation, Griffith, Indiana, or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid.
