Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/31/2021 2:00 PM (PDT) The Central Generation (Cen Gen) Facilities at Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) Treatment Plant No. 1 and Plant No. 2 were completed in 1993, and house Cogeneration facilities, providing power and heat to support miscellaneous wastewater processes. The Central Generation Engines have been in operation for over 20 years and have reached the point where a complete teardown and overhaul of their components is necessary. This point is characterized by an engine operational life of 120,000 hours (minimum) and requires that the engines undergo a major overhaul. Notice to Proceed estimated to be near September 2022.
