Site work for a water / sewer project in Fountain Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, and supplies and shall perform all labor required to complete the Repair painting of the 72-inch AS butterfly valve, stem, actuator, metallic piping, couplings, support brackets and associated apparatus and surfaces, owned and operated by the Orange County Sanitation District (OC San). The elements are associated with the Primary Clarifiers Nos. 6 through 15 and Related Facilities at Reclamation Plant 1 upgrade, installed under Contract P1-33 in 1989. The 72-inch AS butterfly valve, stem, actuator, metallic piping, couplings, and associated apparatus, are primarily of steel construction, installed within a permit-required confined space vault below the Tunnel 25-3 floor located north of the Secondary Clarifiers. The total surface area of the piping and associated apparatus is 510 square feet, with coating failure covering no more than 320 square feet of that total.
