**Project has been awarded but amount not confirmed** The City of Henderson, Nevada is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and install jail cell door food flaps in the Henderson Detention Center. Bidder's who submit a bid without attending the Pre-Bid Conference will automatically be disqualified and not considered for award. All questions regarding this IFB must be submitted electronically. Questions must be submitted prior to the Question Cutoff Date and Time. Upon execution of the Contract the City will issue the Contractor a formal Notice to Proceed and/or a Purchase Order and all Work shall be fully completed within 30 days. Contractor will be required to submit a construction schedule within ten (10) days of Contract execution, for approval. 8/27/2020 05:00:00 PM (PT) Questions Cutoff Date & Time The Contractor shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and as security for faithful performance of warranty work for a period of one year from the date of Substantial Completion and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum as security for the payment of persons performing labor and/or furnishing materials in connection with the Contract. Contractor shall furnish and install 33 jail cell door food flaps (see Attachment A, Western Detention Cutsheet) in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, 23 in Unit 2B (see Attachment B, Unit 2B Floorplan) and 10 in the Medical Housing Unit (MHU) (see Attachment C, MHU Floorplan) of the Henderson Detention Center. Doors shall be removed, taken to a designated area outside, cut and door flap installed/welded in place. Re-painting of entire doors will be required prior to reinstallation of the doors. Paint shall be appropriate for hard use metal application (DTM). Doors shall be properly prepped and primed to accept new paint including any sanding, roughing, and removal of existing paint that that may inhibit new paint from performing. Color to match existing Estimated to be around Oct 19th, 2020. Completion duration- 30 days. There are 11 cells downstairs and 12 upstairs for a total of 23. There are 10 cells in the Medical Housing Unit for a total 33 cells.
