As of February 25, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, bidding is not expected to start prior to late 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Professional Civil Engineering Services for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades. The intent of the City is to select and contract with a civil engineering firm who responds to the RFQ and who is determined by the City to be most advantageous to perform design engineering, permitting, construction bid preparation and evaluation support, construction observation services, and grant reporting support services for the development and start-up operation of a new treatment train element for the City's existing Wastewater Treatment Plant. Professional Services Scoring Committee Meeting 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time Monday, September 14, 2020 West Melbourne City Hall, Second Floor Main Conference Room. Requests for additional information or clarification must be sent via e-mail to chanscom@westmelbourne.org. No verbal requests will be honored. All requests for additional information or clarification must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time on Tuesday August 18, 2020. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
