Furnish all labor, material, and equipment, and perform all work required for the containment blasting and coating of the exterior bowl of a 1,000,000 gallon composite elevated storage tank, along with all necessary appurtenances. Each bid/proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check of the bidder/proposer, or a bid bond duty executed by the bidder/proposer as principal and having surety thereon, a surety company approved by the Owner in amount of five percent (5%) of the bid/proposal. Such cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder/proposer have executed the Contract or, if no award has been made within ninety (90) days after the date of the opening of bids/proposals, upon demand of the bidder/proposer at any time thereafter, so long as the bidder/proper has not been notified of the acceptance of its bid/proposal. SCOPE OF WORK The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment and all incidentals required and performing all work necessary for the blasting and painting of the exterior of the 1-MG (Million Gallon) Betsy Lane Elevated Storage Tank (EST), along with all necessary appurtenances.
