**The project was awarded to Monster Paving for $342,343.20.** Contract SPFLD 19511 involves the rehabilitation of Meadowgreen Park, including site clearing and grubbing; demolition of the existing driveway, parking lot, and basketball court; site grading; construction of a driveway, parking lot, walkways, sports fields, and stormwater management. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Each Contractor shall furnish a surety bond in an amount to 100 percent of the contract for faithful PERFORMANCE; a separate surety bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract for the payment of LABOR and MATERIALS; and a separate MAINTENANCE bond in an amount equal to 25% of the total contract price up to $200,000; plus 10% above $200,000. The PERFORMANCE AND LABOR AND MATERIALS bonds are to continue in effect for a period of one (1) year after final payment. The MAINTENANCE bond is to continue in effect for a period of two (2) years after the date of completion, approval and acceptance of the entire work. Work shall not commence under this contract until each of the above bonds have been obtained. This project is being funded in part by a Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund and is subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. The undersigned agrees to furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct and complete within two-hundred-fifty (250) calendar days as set forth under the schedule outlined in Section 01001 of these specifications including all the necessary contract work, in accordance with said contract documents, for which the following units and/or lump sum prices are submitted.
