The project also includes removal of three existing modular classroom buildings located within the existing staff parking area and redesign of the access, load/unloading and off-street parking area and landscaping. RECOMMENDATION/MOTION: Based on the statement of facts, findings, conclusions and the applicants submitted evidence, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, approve the proposed project of Site Plan Review #187-20-000067-PLNG, subject to the conditions of approval outlined in the attached Supplemental Staff Report. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY: The proposed 7,800 square foot wood-framed addition to the front (east) side of the building contains a new secure entry vestibule, administration, instructional space, library, and expanded mechanical room. Replacement of the existing breezeway located on the west side between the existing main building structure and the gymnasium which is approximately 2,600 square feet, will include enclosed circulation (hallway) space, restrooms, and elevator access to the lower floor cafeteria space. The three existing modular classroom buildings located within the existing staff parking area (north of the main building) will be removed and the access, load/unloading and off-street parking area will be redesigned. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ The District's representative for this project is Chris Giggy, Sr. Project Manager, Integrity Management Solutions: chrisg@integritymgmtsolns.com. All proposers who respond to this solicitation do so at their own expense. No proposal may be withdrawn after the hour set for the opening thereof until the elapse of sixty (60) days from the date and time set for opening. Attention is called to the provisions of the Oregon Statutes, Chapter 279. The Proposer must indicate if they are a resident as defined in ORS 279A.120 and if the contractor and subcontractors are licensed under ORS 701.005 - 701.055. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the District that it is in the public interest to do so. The Project Consists of Major Renovations to the Existing Madison Elementary School Building. The Existing Building Area, Not Including Modular Classroom Buildings Scheduled to Be Removed, Nor the Scheduled Demolition Are of the Infill Portion of the Building Between the Gym and Main Classroom Building Is 38,281 Sf. Building Addition at the East Side of The Main Classroom Building Is Approximately 9,295 Sg and the East Side Replacement Restroom/connecting Hallway/elevator Addition Is Approximately 2,591 Sf. Total Project Area Is 50,167 Sf. Site Improvement Include Reconfiguration of East Side Vehicle and Pedestrian Access Including Paving and Walkways, Landscaping and Irrigation
