The proposed work includes the construction of a 136'-6" long, single span, Prestressed Concrete NU70 Girder bridge at 30 degree skew and 0% grade, located on Osage Valley Road over Petite Saline Creek in Cooper County MO.36'-6" lon All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the United States Department of Labor (Federal Wage Rates) and Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (State Wage Rates), whichever is higher. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2020 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget. The Bidder to whom the awards are made will be notified at the earliest possible date. The Owner, however, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in his interest.
