Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Tinley Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Notice is hereby given that the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "District") is soliciting Bids for the above referenced project. The work includes, but is not limited to, the abatement of asbestos from 4 structures at the property formally known as Villa Santa Maria. and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications. During the bid process, all inquiries must be directed in writing and emailed to the District's Purchasing Agent as follows: Email: fpd.purchasing@cookcountyil.gov. All questions must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. September 2, 2020. The District seeks the following participation goals with respect to Minority-owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") and Women-owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") for this project: 0 % MBE participation goal and a 0 % WBE participation goal. Bidders requiring assistance in meeting these goals are encouraged to contact: Contract Compliance Administrator, Forest Preserve District of Cook County, (312) 603-8342. Email: sergio.silva@cookcountyil.gov. Work shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days from the date that the District issues the Notice To Proceed. The District reserves the right to reject any proposals that are incomplete, conditional, and obscure or contain alterations and/or additions to, standard bid specifications issued by the District.
