The intent of this Adjusted Price bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to perform the following Work: .1 Replace existing air handling units AS-1 in the West Fan Room and AS-2 in East Fan Room with new units .2 Replace existing evaporative humidification system with new steam system complete with water softeners, gas fired steam humidifiers, and steam grids inside the air handling units. .3 Replacement of the air handling is to be carried out while maintaining full operation of the building will all floors occupied. Allow for all necessary measures to maintain continuity of service including but not limited to work during after hours and weekends, building security associated with after hours work, temporary air handling units and associated ventilation, hydronic, and plumbing accessories and material. .4 Provide new gas supply piping and hydronic piping, pumps, heater exchangers, heating fluid, and associated accessories and materials to suit the new air handling units. .5 Carry out baseline air balancing for air handling units AS-1, AS-2, and associated air distribution system on all floors. .6 Verify the condition of existing fan powered VAV and non-fan powered VAVs. Identify any units needing repairs and replacement. .7 Carry out baseline hydronic heating water system of the primary and secondary loops associated with air handling units AS-1 and AS-2. .8 Carry out air balancing post replacement for new air handling units and distribution system. Balancing air flow values at each diffuser to match original record drawings. .9 Carry out hydronic balancing post replacement for new air handling units and heating water and heating glycol system associated with AS-1 and AS-2. .10 Provide new DDC controls for new air handling units AS-1 and AS-2 along with dampers within the East and West Fan Rooms. .11 Carry out any Fan powered VAVs and non-fan powered VAVs as identified during baseline balancing on a unit price basis against cash allowance. .12 Carry out hazardous material abatement as indicated in the contract documents.
