Renovation of a water / sewer project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Raleigh (COR) is solicitating proposals from one or more firm(s) with which to contract for the following services: Remove and dispose of all filter media and gravel support layers in 22 filter cells at the City of Raleigh E. M. Johnson (EMJ) Water Treatment Plant. Install new porcelain spheres, support gravel and sand and anthracite filter media in the 22 filter cells. The qualifying firm shall assume full responsibility and accountability for all work in changing out the filter media in the filter line-up at EMJ water plant. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the Proposer of the conditions contained in this Request for Proposal. Proposals marked entirely as "confidential", "proprietary", or "trade secret" will be considered non-responsive and will be removed from the evaluation process.
