The intention of this project is for the Contractor to furnish all material, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment, machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, water and sanitary facilities and all other facilities and incidentals necessary for this work, this contract will be a term contract. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check made out to the City of Orlando, or other security as provided by law, in an amount not less than 10% of the total base bid. Bidders must be appropriately licensed Florida Contractors pursuant to Chapter 489 Florida Statutes to be considered responsible bidders and eligible to be awarded a contract All questions about this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Silvia Coste, CPP, Purchasing Agent III at silvia.coste@orlando.gov and received by the Procurement and Contracts Division before 5:00 p.m., local time, Friday, September 11, 2020. Answers will be issued in the form of an Addendum. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder to contact the Procurement and Contracts Division and/or the eSupplier prior to submitting a bid to ascertain if any addenda have been issued, to obtain all such addenda, and return executed addenda with the bid. The City is under no obligation to respond to questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for the opening of Bids Upon award of contract, the awarded Bidder may be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of the Contract Price. The City reserves the right to waive the requirement at any time for any contract of $200,000.00 or less.
