Renovation of existing building, to include but not limited to the following: Selective demolition, selective asbestos removal, remove existing roofing system down to structure, replace with new metal decking and single ply roofing system, new RTU's and duct work, new plumbing and fixtures, new electrical system, light fixtures, fire alarm system, intercom, data, aluminum storefront system, interior glass partitions, glazing, H.M. frames, plastic laminate doors, metal studs, gyp. board, painting, VLT flooring, ceramic tile, ceiling systems, millwork. General Contractors are required to pre-qualify to the approval of the Architect, no later than ten (10) days prior to submission of sealed proposal if they have not previously bid on a project for Architect or Owner within the previous twelve (12) months from bid date. Utilize AIA Form A305 - Contractor's Qualification Statement. Proposals (Bidders) will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. Proposals (Bidders) are required to submit sample copies of each required Bond, including Bid Bond, no less than seven (7) days prior to scheduled Proposal (Bid) Opening.
