This project involves the expansion of existing Charlotte Fire Station No. 41 / NC Air National Guard Building B5740. The existing fire station will be expanded by approximately 6,500 square feet, including approximately 500 square feet of storage and 6,000 square feet of vehicle bays. Project elements include building expansion and associated building systems including electrical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, vehicle doors, and low voltage/loudspeaker. Site work includes approximately 1,500 square yards of Portland cement concrete paving, erosion control, drainage, water service, site electrical, and fencing. Relocation of an existing temporary Sprung structure is included within the project.
