As of October 7,2020 the contract has been awarded to Brance Diversified, Inc. in the amount of $3,987,200.00. The Jacksonville Port Authority (Jaxport) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision for the Upland Dredge Material Management Area Construction Phase I. The Contractor will relocate non-building grade dredged material (fine sediments composed mainly of clays, silts, and organics) from within the Buck Island DMMA Cell B to a new sediment storage area shown on Contract Drawings, and called out as Sediment Disposal Area 2. The Contractor will be responsible for creating Sediment Disposal Area 2 adjacent to the existing Buck Island DMMA Cell B wall. Sediment Disposal Area 2 will be located along the outer perimeter of the existing Cell B wall, and yet within areas without direct environmental impacts, etc. in accordance with contract specifications and drawings All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1737.
