Proposals must be delivered to the Province in digital format. Digital Proposals in any form (e.g. CD/DVD, USB flash drive, e-mailed files, etc.) submitted in whole will be accepted as the Proponent's Proposal. Digital proposals should be delivered via email with the RFP number as subject heading to: AEP.Flood@gov.ab.ca The purpose of the Rocky Mountain House Flood Study is to assess and identify flood hazards along the North Saskatchewan River and the Clearwater River, through the Town of Rocky Mountain House, within Clearwater County. The study will be completed under the provincial Flood Hazard Identification Program (FHIP). Hydraulic modelling and flood mapping is required for approximately 13.4 km of the North Saskatchewan River and 4.7 km of the Clearwater River. The North Saskatchewan River reach extends from approximately 7 km upstream of the Clearwater River confluence, on the east edge of NE-11 39 8 W5M, through Clearwater County and the Town of Rocky Mountain House, to the south edge of NW-04 40 07 W5M. The Clearwater River study reach extends approximately 4.7 km upstream from the North Saskatchewan River confluence, to the north edge of NE-03 39 07 W5. Hydraulic modelling, flood inundation mapping, flood hazard mapping, and summary reporting are the main deliverables of the study, but the scope of work includes the following tasks: (1) survey and base data collection, (2) open water hydrology assessment, (3) open water hydraulic modelling, (4) open water flood inundation mapping, (5) design flood hazard mapping, (6) reporting and documentation, and (7) project management. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
