Renovation of a mixed-use development in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; fire / police facility; fitness / recreation center; and municipal facility.
The City invites submissions from general construction contractors to be registered on the City’s pre-qualified list for construction services. Successful Respondents will be eligible to submit future tenders for individual civic construction contracts with estimated values up to $5 million per contract. The City reserves the right to limit the number of contractors that qualify and further limit the number that are eligible to submit for each tender opportunity. The work includes renovations, building additions or new construction to various City-owned facilities ranging from City Hall, firehalls, libraries, police station, pools, arenas, and multi-use recreation facilities. The term for the pre-qualified list will be for the period of January 1, 2021 to Dec 31, 2023. NOTE: Pre-qualified/shortlisted firms have been announced. Individual projects will be followed if/when projects proceed to tender.
