Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Main Street Intersection Improvements. The Town of Southbridge, Massachusetts will receive sealed bids for the Main Street Intersection Improvements Project. The improvements include installation of cement concrete sidewalk; cement concrete wheelchair ramps, granite curbing; replacement of existing water mains and service connections; pavement milling & overlay, cement concrete driveways; replacement of existing catch basins with new deep sump catch basins and hoods, installation of new pavement markings; installation of flashing beacon systems and other incidental work. In accordance with M.G.L. c. 29, 8B, all Contractors intending to bid on projects with a value of $50,000.00 or more, OR funded with Chapter 90 funds, must first be prequalified by MassDOT, Highway Division. Contractors must comply with 720 CMR 5.0 for MassDOT prequalification. Only those who have obtained approval for prequalification will be allowed to bid on this project. If prequalification is not obtained prior to bid opening, such bid cannot be accepted.
