Proposals are requested by the Town of Southbridge (the "Town") for the curbside collection of Refuse, Recyclable Materials and other materials as more specifically set for in this Request for Proposals ("RFP") for a three (3) or five (5) year term, as the case may be, commencing, March 25, 2024. Each proposer must submit to the Town a "Bid Bond" for five (5%) percent of the prices set forth in proposer's response to the RFP as security. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the "Town of Southbridge, Massachusetts" and shall not be enclosed in the sealed envelope containing the proposal, but shall be contained in a separate envelope that shall be attached to the proposal. All proposals must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the submittal date not including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
