Renovation of a multi-residential development in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Project consists of: Removal and replacement of all balcony railings. Balcony repairs, including concrete repairs, sealants, and coatings at an 8 story apartment complex. The work is estimated to cost $1,595,000 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Southbridge Housing Authority General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13.0% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to DHCD (David.McC lave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date
