A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Northeastern York County Sewer Authority in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Northeastern York County Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. The Owner fully intends to construct the work for which bids are solicited. However, the Owner specifically reserves the right, which all Bidders acknowledge by submission of a bid, to reduce quantities and/or eliminate portions of the project to meet available finances. Reduction of quantities or elimination of portions of the project will not constitute grounds of additional or compensatory charges to the low bidder. A pre-bid conference has not been scheduled.
