Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bowmanville, Ontario. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Reconstruct the Liberty Street and Concession Road 3 intersection as a roundabout, install a new traffic signal at the Liberty Street and Bons Avenue/Freeland Avenue intersection, and upgrade the traffic signals at the intersection of Liberty Street and Longworth Avenue. Reconstruct Liberty Street within this section, including road rehabilitation, urbanization with curb and gutter, storm sewers, street lighting, a cycling facility on the west boulevard and a sidewalk on the east boulevard. Installation of new watermain sections along Concession Road 3 and replacement of sections of watermain on Liberty Street, within the road works and north of the roundabout. TIMELINE: Plans complete. Tender may be issued late 2025 for construction in spring 2026. Dates are subject to change. Funding has been approved for construction to proceed.
