The bids are for a Multiple Prime Contracts as indicated by DCI Group for an addition of the existing High School located at 13930 NE 6th Street, Alleman, IA 50007. The project consists of a classroom addition with slight demo and renovation. Miscellaneous Renovation throughout the building will also be present. Some Civil work will be required as indicated in the construction documents. HVAC, Electrical, Technology, and Fire Suppression will become extensions of existing systems or new as indicated in the construction documents. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond is required for this project. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The award of the contract may be made by North Polk Community School District to any responsible bidder or bidders offering suitable supplies, equipment and/or service at the lowest price taking into consideration the quality of materials or service in the best interest of the Owner.
