**As of December 3, 2020, the anticipated start date is in Spring 2020.** The Town of Bethlehem, CT is seeking bids from qualified contractors to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals thereto for construction roadway work as shown on plans for CT Route 61 (Main Street South) Sidewalk Improvements. Includes SBE/MBE Requirements - No Qualified Partnership - No Each bid shall be accompanied by one (1) of the following forms of security: a cashier's check; a certified check; or a bid bond, which security shall be made payable to the Town of Bethlehem and shall be in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount bid. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals.
