Bids shall include furnishing all labor; material, tools and equipment and performing all work required for the Colorado River Intake Pumping Station Improvements which consists of installing and furnishing a copper ion solution generator with a control panel, approximately 120 LF of 2" copper ion solution piping, and copper analyzer at the Colorado River Intake Pumping Station. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal and Bid Schedule forms provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in a penal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submittal. The security may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws of Texas to write surety bonds in the amount required, with such security made payable without recourse to the City. The envelope containing the bid shall indicate clearly on the front that it is a bid for Colorado River Intake Pumping Station Improvements The final Notice of Award of Contract shall be issued to the successful bidder by the City within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after opening thereof. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided,each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company authorized by the State of Texas to act as surety The City of Pflugerville reserves the rights to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received; to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the totalcontract amount within the funds budgeted; the right to award any parts or combination of parts of theproject it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
