Renovation of a fire / police facility in Kitimat, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Re-purposing of an existing stair tower into a stand-alone stair training tower. The stair tower was once attached to a structure. The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Lead paint abatement for entirety of stairwell structure; Structural modifications to steel structure as outlined in the drawings; Installation of horizontal rails on all sides of stair landings; Painting/surface coating of all steel elements according to the drawings; Transportation to installation site (2200 Forest Avenue, Kitimat, B.C.); Installation of foundation in a location identified by the owner; Installation of stairwell structure on completed foundation. TIMELINE: Project was tendered and awarded. Coverage is discontinued.
