Renovation of a water / sewer project in Union City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

**As of 10/28/2020 project was not yet been awarded. Anticipated award date is on 11/9/2020. The project consists of: Furnish and install two (2) each Milton Roy MilRoyal B metering pumps including all local control panels, variable frequency drives, piping, valves, flowmeters, fittings, conduits and supports, wiring, instrumentation, and appurtenances, as required by the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Furnish and install one (1) each a sump pump, including all associated piping, controls, conduits and supports, wiring, and appurtenances, as required by the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Perform other work associated with this Contract which shall include, but not limited to, a tank level sensor, eyewash stations, recycled water and potable water piping, site demolition and restoration, electrical duct banks, overhead trapeze utility support structure, and other items of details that are required by the Contract Drawings and Specifications to be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. The successful bidder will have two hundred ten (210) calendar days to complete the Project from the Notice to Proceed. The Engineer's Estimate for this Project is $550,000. Partial sets of Bid Documents are not available from the District. Bidders may pay for plans and specs by sending a check made out to Union Sanitary District, 5072 Benson Road, Union City, California 94587, or by going online for payment by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. Questions concerning this project should be directed to: Union Sanitary District Attn: Blake Ehlers 5072 Benson Road Union City, CA 94587 Phone: 510- 477-7612 Under California Laws and Regulations, the District shall inform all prime contractors of public works, to the extent feasible of relevant public work requirements as listed in Section 00010 of the Contract Documents. Each bid must conform and be responsive to the invitation, the Plans and Specifications, and all documents comprising the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be presented under sealed cover and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. The said check or bidder's bond shall be given as a guarantee that the successful bidder will execute the contract in conformity with the form of agreement contained within the contract documents, and will furnish bonds and insurance policies as specified within ten (10) days after notification of the award of the Contract to the successful bidder. The District reserves the sole right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in a bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
