Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Largo, Florida. Design plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; for the remodel of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October 18, 2021, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to September 2022. The project includes a new bus service garage to hold and maintain the buses servicing our mid county schools. The project's goal is to construct a new bus service garage with associated work spaces to be located at the southeast of the property, a remodel of the existing facility's kitchen area to turn it from the Transportation command center back into a kitchen to serve the site. There will also be site work associated with the project to include a revised parking lot layout and drive access. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
