Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities concerning bid, or award bid to the lowest responsible Bidder or Bidders taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Proposals for the performance of theContract. Questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the attention of Nikole Subject, Procurement Advisor by email to nikole.subject@faypwc.com, no later than 5:00 pm, Thursday, May 13, 2021. For each consecutive calendar day of delay beyond the time specified for the Contract Completion date, the Materialman shall be assessed liquidated damages $1,000 per day. Liquidated damages will be withheld from amounts which may be or may become payable to the Materialman by the Commission. Should the cost of these sustained damages exceed the amounts owed by the Commission, the Materialman shall pay the difference to the Commission. Potential bidders will have the ability to join the web conference via phone at: (910) 302- 6113 with Conference ID: 886 567 508# and/or via web base with the Microsoft application TEAMS. It is encouraged to utilize the application via web as this pre-bid will contain a presentation of plans and an agenda. Should you need assistance accessing the TEAMS application via web, smart-phone, or tablet please reach out to Nikole Subject via email at the email address listed above or via phone at (910) 635-9882. The site will be made available for inspection on the same day. Bidders who attend the prebid virtually and are not able to complete a site visit on the same day may schedule a site visit through Nikole Subject at nikole.subject@faypwc.com or via phone at (910) 635-9882. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or Savings Association Insurance Fund. Checks shall be made payable to the Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that a Contract, if awarded, will be entered into. In lieu thereof, a Bid Bond which conforms to the provisions of G.S. 143-129 as amended by Chapter 1104 of the Public Laws of 1951 may be submitted by the Bidder.
