As of November 24,2020 project was awarded to Power River Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. but award amount was not confirm. Replace an existing natural gas fired, heating hot water, boiler plant with three (3) new non-condensing, modular, natural gas fired, heating hot water boilers along with new heating hot water distribution pumps and hydronic accessories. The existing gas fired boilers will be removed in pieces through existing building openings. The new natural gas fired boilers will be brought through existing building openings into the existing mechanical room. The new boilers will operate with their packaged controls provided with the new boilers that will be integrated into the facility's existing temperature control system. The project will include updates to the existing temperature control user interface graphics along with additional control and monitor features. The existing heating hot water makeup water and chemical treatment systems will also be replaced. Existing heating hot water piping, components, and associated piping insulation systems will be removed and replaced to accommodate for the new boiler plant configuration. Existing domestic water heaters and expansion tanks will be replaced with new a domestic hot water plant. The domestic hot water heater plant will be relocated to accommodate for space allocations for the new heating hot water boiler plant reconfiguration. The project also include providing new floor access to an existing second level mechanical room.
