Renovation of an educational facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Roosevelt Elementary School Secure Entrance and FCRC Bids will be received as follows: General contract to replace existing relite at entry with sliding window and counter, revise and update existing entrance control systems, auto door operators and door hardware, remodel existing Administration office including a new reception desk, counter for entrance control system equipment, remove overhead coiling grille and replace with new doors and sidelites. Coordinate installation of new Owner furnished and installed carpet. Add new door, hardware, and entrance controls to new FCRC space. Patch and repair wall, floor, and ceiling finishes in areas of work. All work will be under a single contract. Prospective bidders will be required to sign in as an account manager to have access to the project documents. Each bid shall include non-collusion acknowledge and certification of non-segregated facilities. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a Bid bond, certified bank check, or cashier's check executed in favor of the Owner for not less than 5 percent (%) of the base Bid amount, excluding applicable State of Washington taxes. Bid security shall be forfeited as damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to execute the specified Agreement form and Performance and Payment bonds. This project is considered a Public Works project. Attention of bidders is called to State of Washington statues, regulations and rules pertaining, but not limited to, the following public works projects: non- discrimination in employment and facilities; rates of payment for wages and fringe benefits to workers; employment of excess numbers of workers who are non-residents of the State of Washington; forms of bids; bonds, contracts and certificates; restrictions of lien, taxes and retainage; and barrier-free facilities for the handicapped. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw or modify their bid after the time set for the receipt of the bid until after 30 calendar days. The last day for bidder questions is Wednesday, October 14, 2020, by 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
