Construction of public improvements for the Replacement of Air Handler II at Silliman Aquatics Center, Project 1289, City of Newark, Alameda County, California. The improvements consist of the replacement of Air Handler II at the Silliman Aquatic Center. The scope includes the furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor, and associated services necessary to complete the project, as outlined below: Scope of Work o Provide and install one (1) Innovent Model NDHU-OU-PL-16900-IF-IV-460 air handling unit, to be sourced through Trane. o Submit as-built drawings and obtain all required permits from the City of Newark. o Engage a licensed mechanical engineer to perform a seismic review of unistrut and supports. o Perform necessary roof repairs related to the installation. o Conduct full system air balancing. o Coordinate delivery and crane installation. o Syserco will be performing all commissioning for this project. Bidders shall include the following information in their proposals: o Seismic repair allowance o Estimated lead time from order placement to delivery and installation o Estimated duration of installation (in working days) o Pricing for a post-installation service agreement It is the Citys intent to award the contract for this work by Thursday December 11, 2025. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Bidders Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price.
